The Pyrénées-Mont Perdu site comprises 3 glacial cirques: Gavarnie, Troumouse and Estaubé. These marvels of flora and fauna are best explored in summer for the beauty of their landscapes and peaks.

Popular with cyclists and lovers of high mountain scenery, the Route d’Héas takes you straight to the heart of the Cirque de Troumouse. This unique place, with its sumptuous colors , is the starting point for many hikes. From the parking lot at 2100 m, a 30-minute family hike takes you to the Vierge de Troumouse, a magnificent viewpoint over the entire Cirque.

The Estaubé valley offers magical walks for the whole family, in the secrecy of a cirque where marmots have made their home. Parking is available at the start of Lac des Gloriettes and its dam at 1668 m altitude. Estaubé offers the best route to the famous Mont-Perdu, via the Brèche de Tuquerouye.
